  • In week one you’ll discover what love is (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).
  • In week two you’ll witness the ultimate display of pure love (John 3:16)
  • In week three you’ll understand why it’s important to love (1 Peter 4:8)
  • In week four you’ll consider the command given to you about love (Mark 12:30-31)

Bible Journaling Challenge Study Method

We use the GOD method for studying the word, but you can use any method you choose. Learn more about the different methods here: https://www.biblejournalingministries.com/soap-method/

G is for Grow
Approach the Word with the intention to learn something and ask God that he might grow you in his Word today.

O is for Observe
Similar to the SOAP method, consider what God wants you to see in the Word and how you might apply it to your life.

D is for Draw
Drawing, illustrating, and writing are methods that creative people use connect with the message in a meaningful way. You can draw pictures in your Bible, paint, illustrate a beautiful picture, or simply doodle. If your Bible already includes images, you can color them as well. There’s no need to try for perfection. The point of drawing is to help you connect with the Word.

Sharing

Your Bible art is your personal expression of what God is saying to you as well as your response to his Word. If you would like to use it as a way to encourage others, please share your work in our Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BibleJournalingforBeginners/
