Thank you for sharing the simplicity of Bible Journaling . This is a form of what I have been doing for a long time but never considered it “journaling”. I appreciate the encouragement knowing this is unique to me, no wrong or right way to do it. I look forward to the next lesson.

I’ve been thinking about starting art journaling, specifically God’s Word. I don’t want to use my current Bible that I’ve had since 1980 and have been tossing around using a Bible or just a journal book. I think I’ll use the journal book until I get comfortable with the process (and see if I like it) and eventually (maybe) get a journaling Bible.

I just need a kick in the pants to get started! I’ve done a lot of reading and exploring what others have done… I’ve already been doing the first two steps since I became a Christian and now just need to draw! I think this course will be the kick I need!

    Thanks!

It is encouraging to be reminded to not be envious of others‘ supplies but be content to just start with a pencil and be happy with that sketch and the words I put with it. Hi, I have looked at a few Bible Journaling videos. I like the idea of journaling in a journaling Bible that I have. I haven’t done too much with it yet. I am kind of one who doesn’t like to cover the words. Just not my thing. I do highlight and underline now and then. I like that you stress that this can be as simple or as detailed as I want it. I like simple. Sometimes. I found your site because I had ordered the This Is My Story This Is My Song hymnal journal from Amazon week or so ago. I like the idea of journaling the old hymns.

Good morning. Thank you for the video. It is so refreshing to know that perfection is not needed.

I’ve actually been doodling in my Bible for years. I have a pair of pants drawn to remind me of the point the pastor was making using that analogy and my granddaughter added some things that my doodles spiked an interest in. (She rerouted Paul’s journey on a map!) So, I guess it’s not entirely new, but I never realized it was a ‘thing”. I’ve had a few people ask me how I could “mar” my Bible like that. Boy they won’t want to see it now because I’m starting on an even more wondrous journey with Bible Journaling! Thank you SO much!

Thank you so much for the reminder, that it does not have to be perfect and that it should never look like someone else b/c I am made unique, so my work should also be unique.

Hi Tracie, I do have a printer but I haven’t ever printed on sticker paper. Can you please tell me what sticker paper I can get so I can print the stickers you have made that are all so lovely? Thank you so much for all of these classes and work sheets, stickers and all the work you have put into providing these.

Thank you Tracie! Loved this concept, I had always thought I need world class art skills to do Bible journalling properly. Myth busted for sure!!! 6 years since you released the video and it is STILL impacting lives today. God bless you in your ministry!
